Step 2.
What you do:
- Accept or refuse. If you accept then sign the contract and...
- Indicate the amount of your royalty.
- Return he contract to us by fax at: 1-831-305-5167
- Once accepted by us, pay the setup fee.
What we do:
- Prepare the final proof in PDF format.
- Prepare a coverpage for your book.
- Send you those 2 documents
Step 3.
What you do:
- Tell us if there are any changes to be done.
- Accept the final corrected proof.
What we do:
- Assign an ISBN number to your book. It will be printed with the price on the backcover and the interior.
- Submit bibliographic data to the CIP (Cataloguing in Publication).
- Start the initial printing process.
- Submit bibliographic data to Ingram, Baker & Taylor, Bertrams, Gardners and Amicus.
- Create a webspace where you can follow the sale of your book.
- Immediately put your book for sales on eBooksLib. Sales on Amazon, Powells, Barnes & Nobles, Fictionwise etc... will follow in 4 to 6 weeks. This delay is beyond our control. This is simply the time it takes for a book to make its way through all distribution channels.
- Submit 2 copies of your book to Legal Deposit Canada.
- Every 4 months pay you your royalties.

We reserve the right to refuse any manuscript without having to tell you the reason why.However we generally accept most manuscripts provided its content does not break any law. It must not contain any libel, diffamatory text or promote hate. Erotic literature must be in good taste. You most own the rights to the work.
Your manuscript must be well written and not contain too many errors.

Price: There are 3 parts to the price. A setup price, a price for printing and a sales price.
THE AUTHOR PAYS ONLY THE SETUP PRICE.
Setup price: The setup price has been calculated by eBooksLib. It is based on various factors including but not limited to the type of cover and the number of pages. It varies between $150US and $350US, $220US being the average for a 250 page book.
Printing Cost: The printing cost has been calculated by eBooksLib. It varies depending on the size of the book and the type of cover. THE AUTHOR DOES NOT PAY THE PRINTING. IT IS USE SOLELY TO CALCULATE THE FINAL SELLING PRICE OF THE BOOK.
The average printing cost for a 250 page book is around $6.50USD
Sale Price and royalties: The author decides the amount of his royalty. This amount is then added to the printing cost. This gives the wholesale price of the book. The wholesale price is the price is the price that libraries pay for your book. Multiply this price by 2 to get the retail price, the price the customer pays for your book.
To summarize, the price of your book is calculated as follows:
1. Printing cost
Plus
2. Royalties
Equals wholesale price.
3. The wholesale price multiplied by 2 gives the final sales price.
Again, the author does not pay this, (unless buying his own book). The only fee the author NEEDS to pay is the setup fee.
